About us

The founder of San Diego Workplace Ergonomics, Lori Budniewski, has a Bachelors Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Springfield College as well as a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University. She is certified in The Back School, CEAS, as an ergonomics assessment specialist and recently completed the coursework for her CEES certification from Matheson Education.

Lori specializes in conducting ergonomic evaluations and assessments for the office environment. She provides ergonomic orientation during on-boarding for new hires. She conducts presentations for proper workstation ergonomics, education for proper body mechanics and lifting for diverse industries, as well as individual stretching programs for her clients.

Lori Budniewski

PT, CEAS Lori Budniewski is the owner of San Diego Workplace Ergonomics. She is a licensed Physical Therapist with an emphasis in orthopedic manual therapy. Lori grew up in Rhode Island and had a passion for gymnastics at a young age. As Rhode Island State Gymnastic Champion, she received a scholarship to Springfield College, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. After being diagnosed with scoliosis, she was referred to physical therapy which had a significant impact on her career path. She earned her master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University. After years of treating clients in an outpatient setting, Lori began working as an ergonomist to help prevent injury before it occurred. Lori is a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society. She is also a member of the Poway Chamber of Commerce and an active member in her church. Lori enjoys exercising at The Bar Method and taking long walks in the outdoors. She considers herself a “foodie” and an avid cook. Lori lives in Poway, CA with her husband and they have two grown sons who live and work in the San Diego area.
